Excited about this post! Dasa Photography’s Livestrong Engagement :: Jordan and Adam was featured on Middle of the Map Weddings. Not only was this a surprise for me that my submission was selected but I couldn’t wait to share this surprise with Jordan and Adam. Thank you to Middle of the Map Weddings for sharing their engagement session at one of the best stadiums dedicated to major league soccer in the world!!

Ariella & Roy are my first engaged couple of 2012!  I met Ariella a few years ago as I was dating Melissa – now my wife. She was one of Melissa’s best girlfriends growing up and she was also that best girlfriend that helped us out with our wedding preparations.  When Roy came into Ariella’s life, we knew that he was the “one” because he was a very genuine and kind individual who not only cares for Ariella but for everyone.

When I heard from my wife that Roy proposed and that they wanted me to do their engagement and wedding photos, I personally couldn’t wait because I wanted to return the favor by capturing their special day.

Here is the first part of Ariella and Roy :: Engaged!!

What is there to do the day after Christmas? Hmmm, eat some more sweets, go out shopping and join the day after christmas rush or have a family photo session? Well, we decided to do a family session of Olivia and her family. Olivia and her parents are from DeMoines, IA and they were in town for the holidays. We missed her dad as he had to travel out of town for work but we were sure to capture some great photos for Olivia to show dad.

Here are some highlights of Olivia and her family.

It’s the day after Christmas and Santa had one more task for us. We obviously could not say no. 🙂 Here is a preview of “little” Olivia and her family.

It feels good to be back in the Windy City and I can’t wait to get a slice of some good Chicago style deep dish pizza! 🙂 But before I stuff myself with all that goodness, I have to share with you all this incredible family session. Do you remember Harry, my colleague, from my  St. Louis portrait session?  Well, work had me travel to see him again late last year and this time our reunion involved me capturing his beautiful family. And you can tell that their little girl was the star of the session.. not only does she take mom and dad’s good looks but she takes after their gentle and uplifting spirit. I present to you all one the kindest families I’ve ever met. This is Alicia and Harry Family Portrait session in Chicago.
